Chamber's program is a broad spectrum of benefits and services for members that

Exposure & Promotion
There is no
better way to get your company's name before the public and the business
community than through Chamber membership. Available to members at little or no
cost ar the following:
Newsletter Publicity
Our monthly "Aztec
Etchings" newsletter publishes updates on products, services and
accomplishments of members.
Direct Mail Promotion
New members receive a
coupon for one set of free preprinted chamber mailing labels. Additional
sets are available for a nominal fee. Members can also use our bulk
mailer stamp to receive substantial savings on postage costs for mass mailings.
Advertising Opportunities
- A promotional flyer can be inserted in the newsletter
once per year at no cost. Additional insertions are available for a small
fee.
- Ads can be placed n the newsletter for a nominal fee.
- Ads can be placed on this website in the rotating ad at
the bottom left of the home page for a nominal quarterly fee.
- Promotional materials can be displayed in the Chamber
Office.
Membership Directory / Web Site
Members receive a free
business category in the directory and can purchase additional listings at a
minimal cost. Telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, and web sites are listed
alphabetically by business name to help in your quick search for contact
information. The directory is also listed on the Chamber web site with a link
to your web site.
Referrals
The Chamber Office
refers over a thousand people each year to member businesses.
Networking & Support
The Chamber
can put you in touch with hundreds of people who could become new clients or
customers. Some of the dozens of events you can attend as a member to expand
your contacts include:
Business
After Hours
A networking event in a
relaxed atmosphere sponsored by a different Chamber business each month. This
is a great event to meet fellow members and network with potential
clients/customers.
Monthly
Luncheons
Lunch is served by
a different Chamber restaurant each month and a different program is presented
with topics ranging from "Tax Tips" to "San Juan Leadership
Programs."
Special
Events
The Chamber hosts
numerous special events each year including: Fiesta Days, our Annual Banquet /
Silent Action, Election Forums, ACI Roundtable Reviews, Spring Fling EXPO and
more. These events bring members ( and the community) together for
business and pleasure.

if you need someone to point you in the right direction... we are here to help.

Members enjoy free
advice from the Chamber in staging grand openings, ground breakings, ribbon
cuttings, and other events. We can provide invitation mailing lists,
recommendations of caters, suggestions on the time and date, and more.

The Chamber is
dedicated to improving your chances to achieve success in your business or
professional life and we conduct numerous programs throughout the year that
offer opportunities for self-improvement. We also provide you with information
on programs that may be of interest and help to you.
Technology
Program
We are developing a
program to give members an opportunity to receive basic instruction and
assistance at the Chamber Office on computers, software, digital cameras,
scanners, e-mail, the internet and more.
Grant
Writing
We provide
assistance to organizations needing help with locating and submitting grant
opportunities.
Tourism & Economic
Development
We work closely with the City of Aztec, the Lodger's Tax Advisory Board, the Small Business Development Center, the NM Department of Tourism, the NM Economic Development Department, the San Juan Economic Development Service, Association of Commerce & Industry (ACI), Farmington CVB, Durango, and many more organizations and visitor centers to
promote tourism and economic development in our area.
