Marti Kirchmer has served on the Aztec Chamber board for the past four years, three as its Secretary. Marti holds a BA and an MA in US History from UNM. Her professional life has been spent in museum, nonprofit, and higher education administration. She is director of the East Campus of San Juan College, and is active in our community, having served on the Library Advisory Board, and currently on the Museum Association Board and Mosaic Academy Governing Board. Marti and her husband Robert moved to Aztec five years ago, excited to return to New Mexico after several decades "in exile" in Utah, Kansas, Georgia, Michigan, and Arizona. Their son, Mychael, attended Mosaic Academy and is currently a freshman at Aztec High School. In addition to Mychael, Marti has two daughters in Michigan. Betsy is married to James McCarthy and expecting their first child. Emily is married to Dan King. Emily and Dan have three little ones - Vivianna (3), Lolah (2), and Devin (1).
