Upon graduating high school in 1978, I immediately joined the United States Navy.  During my 20 year career, I served on three ships, three shore stations and one overseas tour.  I retired in 1998 at Jacksonville, Florida where I started a new career with Caterpillar in the construction industry.  In 2000, my wife and I to moved to the Land of Enchantment where we both worked for Rust Tractor in Albuquerque.  A few years later, I accepted the challenge of opening a new Wagner Rents facility in the four corners area.  We have been up and running in Flora Vista since May 2006.  On a side note, my wife and I also raise miniature donkeys at our ranch, ASStec Acres, on Dutchman’s Hill. We have enjoyed belonging to the Aztec Chamber for several years now.

My vision for Aztec is growth for the community while preserving the unique small town qualities that are so hard to find today. Encouraging and supporting small business and large enterprises who are considering setting up shop in and around Aztec.
